Measures visual orientation ability.
Visual orientation ability is a fundamental component of spatial-perceptual functions which can be impaired for different neurological and/or psychiatric disorders, such as cranio-cerebral trauma, stroke, various forms of dementia, Parkinson's disease as well as schizophrenia, affective disorders and anxiety disorders.
The LAT is used when visual orientation ability is relevant for traffic psychology or traffic medicine investigations – particularly for neurological and psychiatric patients.
